Professor Ali Ghoz
Professor Ali Ghoz, FRCS (Tr. & Orth.), MRCS (Eng), MSc (Oxon.), MRCS (Ed), MB BCh Fellowship (AOA) is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Professor of Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. Currently based in London, Ghoz was born in 1976 and qualified in 1998 with an MB BCh (CUH).

Career & Qualifications
Ghoz gained his Anatomy Demonstrator Diploma, and in 2004 was awarded an MRCS in Edinburgh. In 2005 Ghoz received his MRCS in England and in 2011 his FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics). Continuing his studies, Ghoz then gained an MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences from the prestigious Oxford University in 2013.
At present, Ghoz is working as a Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, specialising in lower limb surgery, adult hip and knee arthroplasty, sports medicine, and knee soft tissue reconstruction and trauma. Ghoz has a subspecialist interest in revision hip and knee surgery, and has practiced at BUPA Cromwell Hospital and The London Clinic since November 2016.
Between 2014 and 2017 Ghoz worked as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire. At this post Ghoz was also the Clinical lead for Neck of Femur Fractures and Audit, and his areas of interest in this role included knee soft tissue reconstruction, adult hip and knee arthroplasty, trauma and sports medicine, and general orthopaedic surgery.
From July 2013-14, Ali Ghoz practiced at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Ghoz worked as an Adult Hip/Knee Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine and Knee Arthroscopy Fellow during this time. Ghoz had previously worked as a Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and Trauma Fellow at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading in 2012-13, and previous to that he had been a Specialist Registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Yorkshire, where he specialised in complex foot and ankle elective and trauma surgery.
Ali Ghoz is a member of several professional organisations, including the British Orthopaedic Association, Wolfson College, Oxford University, Royal College of Surgeons of England, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, and the National Expert Witness Agency. Ghoz has made a lifelong commitment to Audit & Clinical Governance and has performed a number of audit projects, including several at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, the Royal Berkshire Hospital and Harrogate.
Ali Ghoz publications have been included in The Open Orthopaedics Journal, the Bulletin of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, Cases Journal, Orthopaedic and Trauma Times, and Orthopaedic Reviews.
